Horrible customer service with my third adjuster (Jonathon) since my claim 1-18-2024
Worst insurance company I've experienced in my 50 years! I had a neighbors 100 foot oak tree fall on the back of my house ruin my two decks, huge staircase gone, fence, retaining wall, outdoor lighting, sprinkler system and landscape totally destroyed.
My first adjuster Erin suggested I hire a company to remove the tree before she arrived, which I did.
To date NO REIMBURSMENT! She observed the damaged property on February 3, 2024 late (from Texas).
Monday February 5th I received a call from a new adjuster Jasmine that couldnt answer any of my questions.
A couple days later, I get a e-mail from Jonathan (Florida) who now says he is my adjuster. He goes on a vacation for a week and doesnt have back up.
Im sending e-mails 2-15-24 with bids during this time not knowing hes out of town.
I finally reach him after my agent contacts his boss, Jonathan says hes never received these
Bid e-mails, I resend them Tuesday February 27th and follow up with a voice mail with a couple questions, NO response. I re-sent the e-mail this morning (Thursday) @ 7:10PM
NO REPONSE!
KATU did a interview on this story a couple weeks ago, Im filing a complaint with the Oregon Insurance Commissioner tomorrow.

WORST INSURANCE COMPANY!!! It's almost 9 weeks since I submitted my claim!!
I am not 100% to blame for the accident. In this accident I lost my car, I lost my job, I lost a lot of money, I lost everything!!! For unknown reason they are using wrong name and more. And they hacked my email and phone: I'm not in a safe place, I'm scared for my life.
They didn't even rent me a car for 16 days!!! I was working in my car. I just lost both my jobs!!! The accident was so bad I was sick and still not well!!!
But they still haven't paid me anything. I have called more than 100 times so far!!! I can't live my life now!!! The insurance company doesn't care about my condition.This illness is a game for them!!!
The only thing they are calculating is how they can make more money from this disaster!!! I called the claim department twice yesterday, I spoke to two women and the customer service was very rude and disrespectful.

I made a claim on January 10 2024. I was assigned a Mr.
Daryl Watson
on January 26th 2024 Mr. Watson confirmed that we meet at the property at 11:30 am at 11:35 I call Mr. Watson and asked where was he at he said he wasn't going to make it, but his roofer was on his way.
I brought to his attention that he confirmed the meeting. And the roofer isn't going to give me a price for the inside damages.
He told me he needed a 1/2 hour I said fine. I have called numerous times, and my agent has called also.
With no correspondence from Safco or Daryl Watson. It has been over a month since my claim has been filed.

Verified ReviewerI have never had an supervisor lie to me then when asked to transfer to her supervisor I was told NO! THIS IS UNEXCUSABLE AND UNEXCEPTIONABLE BEHAVIOR.
Needs better employees that do their jobs.

Need some internet for low income family
User's recommendation: They have gone down hill! Not an honest company at all! They recently cancelled my home owners insurance. I asked why! They put on record for my policy that I had several expensive claims! This was an absolute lie! I made a couple of phone call inquiries into what my policy covers. This was over 2 years ago, and they were not actual claims! They lied about it and have it in my records as claims! I had to call the State Insurance Commission and make a report for this false information! I'm a senior and they are taking advantage of me and now I have to find a different provider! Safeco, AKA Liberty Mutual can not be trusted! Save your time and money!

Each month I try to call and make a payment to my local SAFECO agent.
Sometime hours ...
Sometime DAYS...
Sometimes never does the local agent call me to take my payment. The agent tells me,
" SAFECO requires ONLY the agents contact information be on your bill".
Maybe so because, when I google SAFCO's phone number(s) each phone at Safeco transfers me back to the local agent !!!
UGHH.
DRIVERS INSURANCE VERIFICATION CARD...
has no phone number for SAFECO !!
NO... 1(800)'s
NO... 24hr claim phone number.
NONE, NONE, NONE !
Only the local agent's phone number... again.
If you were to be in a car accident after hours or on a weekend you would need a 24hr claims phone number...
RIGHT ??
Not with Safeco.
With Safeco you will bleed-out in the gutter before you talk to their greedy selves.
I pay SAFECO almost $10,000 in annual premiums and it is as if they hide from me??
I am literally throwing $$$ at SAFECO. They happily scoop it up.

Want to speak to someone
I recieved my latest bill in the mail. It had gone up $12.81.
I simply wanted to know why. Seeing that the last year of monthly payments were the exact same amount. I tried calling several times and the automated system kept hanging up on me. I tried 5 different numbers with no luck.
SafeCo obviously cares nothing about their customers, (and suck at customer service) or they would do more to keep them. At the very least, answer the phone! SafeCo has put a nail in their coffin.
I will be finding a new insurance company ASAP! I will be telling this to anyone and everyone who will listen, and advising AGAINST going with SafeCo!!
